Amazon.com is currently running a new program in Beta called Context Links. This looks like it is going to be an excellent tool to help webmasters increase revenue from their websites.

Context links are very similar to google adsense ads in that you place a snippet of code on your website, amazon reads the page, understands what it is about, and displays products that are relevant.

This is a significant development for several reasons. First off you, as a webmaster, no longer do you have to worry about amazon products going out of stock. It can be a lot of work going over your products and replacing all the code for the products no longer in stock at amazon.com. Context ads solve this problem. It will display only up to date products.

A second big benefit is that you can very specifically gain from the massive intelligence that amazon is gathering about its customers. Do you get email from amazon? Do you log into their site often? Ever notice how the main page changes based on your browsing and shopping habits? They have gathered information from you and from millions of other shoppers and this means they know what might be of interest to you. You can leverage this intelligence by using context ads. Now when you create a content page you can let amazon figure out what products would best be sold within that page.

A third benefit is that this will actually offer your web visitor a better shopping experience. Let me explain. You are a webmaster and that means you probably have some expertise in the subject area of your website. But do you know everything? Do you know about all the most popular products in your subject? Of course you don’t. There are too many things to know and too little time in the day. But Amazon knows. And they will display these things in context ads. You leverage their intelligence to your gain (and their gain).

Extraordinary Control over what is displayed

There is one significant thing about context links that make them very attractive and better. This is that you as the webmaster are given quite a lot of control. They give you all the usual Amazon type controls that you are probably already familiar with such as size, color, look and layout. But there is one extra level of control that will have a significant impact on how well context ads do on your site. That is the ability to mark, with some simple html, exactly which portions of your page you want to be analyzed or not analyzed for the content ad placement. This is a tremendous tool for you as a webmaster. It will allow you to finely tune what you want them to place on your page.

Context Ads are currently in Beta and I am not sure how wide they are offering it to their affiliates but if you have an affiliate account log in and check to see if you have access to it. I recommend you start using and testing it right away! If you have a website and are not an affiliate of Amazon.com I highly recommend you sign up! This looks like it could be a very successful tool that will significantly impact your click through rates.

54% of all Google Adsense publishers admit addiction to click income. A recent online study conducted by a small group of Google Publishers found that 54% of all Adsense publishers where addicted to the income potential of Googles Pay Per Click system.

Some Google Adsense Publishers Need Therapy

It was also found that some publishers were so addicted they where checking their Adsense statistics up to 50 times per day.

Google Adsense is a system where individuals who own content rich website's can earn money by placing small targeted ads within the content of their website. The ads can be customised to fit within the scheme of the website and some successful publishers can earn in excess of $200,000 per month.

One publisher stated that her addiction started the day she placed the Adsense code into her html code. "I was introduced to Adsense by my boyfriend, who makes around a $1000 a month". She went on to say that she doesn't blame Google for her addiction, but the fever in which forums and blogs promote the fact that anyone can become rich with this scheme inspired her to keep adding pages and checking her stats.

Another publisher I spoke to told me his addiction had made him a rich man in 51 days. "I was browsing the net on October the 15th last year and came across a website that had a photo of a guy holding a Google cheque for nearly $200,000 dollars. Under the picture it stated that this was just a 1 month pay check from Google. Lights and bells went off in my head as I thought, Man, this is what I have been looking for".

David, had been dabbling in online money making schemes for about 6 years and to date had not been very successful. "I am addicted to Google Adsense" Kate told me, "but what better addiction could you have than earning money, while doing something you love".

Google, being one of the most undisputed search engine leaders is now placing higher importance on the quality and relevancy of its search engine results. Even more so today, now that the company is publicly traded and there are shareholders to satisfy.

For this same reason, doing the wrong things as a Adsense advertising partner, whether intentionally or not, may result in a severe penalty or even having your account terminated.

So, for those who are thinking of starting a career in Adsense, it's a good idea to not only think about the strategies you will be use to generate more earnings but to also be aware of activities that will, more than likely, shorten your career.

The following is a list of things you will definitely want to avoid:

Hidden text. Filling your advertisement page with text to small to read which has the same color as the background and uses css (cascading style sheets) for the sole purpose of loading them with keyword-rich content and copy, will earn you a penalty award given to those who are hiding links.

Page cloaking. This is the common practice of using a browser or bot sniffers to serve the bots of a different page other than the page the surfer is expecting to see. Loading a page with a bot that a human user will never see is a definite no-no. The goal here is to trick the surfer into visiting a web page you want seen but that the visitor might not have gone to.

Multiple submissions. For example, trying to submit one URL as two separate ones. This is definitely inviting trouble and even Adsense account termination. Having more than 100 links on a single page will classify you as a link farm, so be sure to keep that number under that.

Page rank for sale. If you have been online for some time, you might have noticed some sites selling their page rank links or trading them with other sites. If you are doing this, expect a ban anytime . It is okay to sell ads or acquire the link.

But combining this advertising with your Adsense advertisment pages is a way to get on the search engine's bad side.

Doorways. This is similar to cloaking pages. It is the common practice of a page loaded with choice keyword ads aimed at

redirecting visitors to another "user-friendly" page is a big issue among search engines. There are many SEO firms offering this service. Again, you will want to avoid using this technique.

Multiple domains having the same content. In case you are not aware of it, search engines look at domain IP's, registry dates and many other things. Having multiple domains with the same exact content is not something you can hide from them.

The same is true with content multiplied many times on separate pages,sub domains and forwarding multiple domains to pages displaying duplicate content.

Many of the rules above apply to most search engines and are not exclusively Google's. By building your sites with content-rich pages which are designed for human users and not for bots, and by avoiding those things listed above, you can look forward to a successful Adsense advertising partnership experience, not to mention, avoiding the wrath of the search engines and getting your account terminated.

Google’s adverts bring much better results than normal advertising because each advert is targeted to the content of that page. For instance you might have a webpage about food, Google would index your page then target adverts based on that content. Adverts may range from catering services to supermarkets; some may be more relevant than others, the key is to get adverts that your visitors are interested in.

2. Are Google ads right for you?

If your site already sells a product or service you most likely don’t want adverts, as they will attract possible customers attention away from your site. If you’re a Blogger there are other ways to make money from affiliate programs, sponsorship, donations and merchandising.

You might want to consider a couple of these revenue ideas in order to make money from your site. Cafepress is one company that allows you to create your own products with customized logos and writing.

3. Sign up for Adsense

In order to qualify for Google’s Adsense program you need to make sure you site conforms to their program policy, you shouldn’t have a problem unless your site contains hardcore pornography, illicit drugs, hate crimes or other illegal activity.

If you do have any problems applying either check the content of your site or contact Google.

4. Know how and where to place ads.

Placing adverts is very simple but it is very important you get the adverts in the right place. Within your Adsense account you can choose the layout and customize the style of the advert, this produces a piece of JavaScript that you then cut and paste into your webpage where you want the advert to show.

Placing your adverts on the right part your page is important so that people looking at your site will see the advert. Putting adverts in with your page content is a lot more effective than putting them in with navigation or at the edges of the page.

On the other hand putting ads too intrusively into your page will put people off, some sites use ads in such a way that they have to write “Story continues below advert”, if the advert is that big then you might want to try a smaller advert.

If your advert is in the middle of a large chunk of text then the reader is going to come across your advert as they read your page, doing this also has the added effect of breaking up areas of text.

Adsense also offers the ability to add Google search to your site, sometimes adverts simply don’t work and with Adsense for search you get paid when someone clicks on a sponsored advert when they search for something.

At the top of the ImAFish forum I have put a Google search box, I have then been advertising this and trying to get my users into the habit of using it to search Google rather than their normal means.

5. Placing ad’s on content rich pages.

Putting adverts on pages full of navigation links won’t normally give good-targeted adverts. A good example of this is the front page of the ImAFish forum as it is simply links to other forums on more specific categories.

When Google can’t find an advert to place on a page it will display a public service advert that you will not get paid for. The same could be said if you had an empty page with just adverts on, as Google can’t find anything to display, public service ads will be shown.

You may have problems with adverts on image rich pages, I had some adverts on my gallery at one time and found I had a lot of public service adverts as Google can’t analyze the contents of an image unless it has meta data associated with it.

Try to avoid placing adverts in frames, as the ad may not correspond to the content in the other frame.

6. Attracting people to your site.

The more people you have visiting your site the more people that are likely to click an advert! That’s why good careful marketing of your site and its content is important.

There are a lot of simple free ways to get people on your site, adding your site address to your email signature a simple one or as I like to do put new features or content from my site on my MSN name. Be careful not to spam people, as it won’t give your site a good name.

You can add your site to various directory websites for instance the open directory project dmoz.org has many categories you can add your site too. For Bloggers sites such as blogdex.net/ and technorati.com are good directories while notification services such as pingoat.com are useful for pinging other directories to get your Blog noticed.

7. Good Site Content

The best way to attract people to your site and to get relevant adverts is your sites content. Good site content though will not guarantee relevant adverts. On the forum we had a problem of just getting adverts for Blog services rather than the content in our forum posts, this was mainly because of the word Blog in the navigation, unfortunately the only way round this was to remove the word from the navigation.

If there are certain URL’s you think are competing with you’re content rather than being useful then you can block them in the “Competitive Ad Filter” in your Adsense account.

8. How much will I get from Google Ads?

This depends on a number of things, the position of the ads on your page, number of visitors you get, relevancy of ads and how well paid each advert is.

With Adsense each advert is not worth the same, you could have one advert that would give you 10cents then another may give you $1 per click. It depends on the demand for that type of advert, for instance if a number of companies are competing for advertising space on loans the company offering the most per click will get their adverts displayed first.

Unfortunately Google does not let you see how much an Advert is worth so it is hard to produce content aimed at those sorts of adverts.

Adsense has the ability to put your earnings straight into your bank account so there is no messing about with cheques in the post.

9. Managing your Adsense account.

Keeping track of your Adsense account is important, some people like to check their Adsense account daily (a bit like counting your money) others check it less frequently. I like to check a few times a week but if I’m running a feature on the site such as this article I will check more often.

It may be obvious but make sure your details are up-to-date and Google are always bringing out new ways for you to make money so keep checking the Adsense site..

10. Keep monitoring your adverts.

If you have certain adverts doing well keep a close eye on them as they may not keep doing well, a change in your navigation could change the content of the adverts so keep an eye on the adverts across your site.

On Blogs and Forums where the content is constantly changing from user posts and comments you might even get some adverts you weren’t expecting.

Channels are a good way of checking certain pages and advert layouts (are certain adverts on a page doing better than other ads.

One of the most serious issues that online marketers face is click fraud. A recent issue of Newsweek (Oct 6, 2006) contains an article on click fraud which has cast some doubt on the many pay per click services that are offered on the Internet today.

Pay-per-click advertising allows marketers to gain website exposure by paying only when someone clicks on their ad or search result. Search engines such as Google let advertisers place bids for placement of paid links or ads. These links will then appear when certain keyword searches are done.

Click fraud is getting to be so pervasive that search engines such as Google have created teams specific to combating click fraud. Since 95 percent of Googles profits are derived from advertising it is important that they keep their customers happy, so Google offers refunds to advertisers when click fraud has been discovered.

Click fraud involving human operators can be much more difficult to detect. This type of fraud involves many people clicking on ads from different computers across the country. This does not provide any type of pattern that can be analyzed. The India Times reported that people are being hired to click paid links from home allowing them to make up to $200 a month.

What an impact click fraud could have in the future on pay for click advertising since it's estimated that up to 15% of all clicks are fake. It's also estimated that up to 500 million dollars of advertising expenses are being wasted due to the click fraud industry.

What should you look for in a "guaranteed click" service?

1. If they claim to be able to send 20,000 hits to your website, then find out where these hits are coming from.

2. Do they allow sites with pop-ups? If they do not then it may be because they are using an automated click system that does not work on sites with pop-ups.

3. Monitor your site to determine if the clicks that you paid for are coming from unique visitors and not from one machine clicking your site 20,000 times.

4. Make sure you know the conversion rate for your site. You should be making one sale per so many clicks.

3. One source of fraud can be much closer to home. This happens when company employees click on their rivals ads to deplete they’re marketing budgets and skew their search results. Eventually, such bogus clicks can add up and dry up a competitors budget.

Paying for traffic to your website may seem like a good idea when you are not experiencing much success, but this is when most people become vulnerable to click fraud. You may want to consider these four tips before handing over your credit card.

1. Make sure you take plenty of time to consider and research the credibility of any offers. Sleep on it.

2. Developing traffic to your website takes time and persistence. Traffic can be found in many different ways, and for free or low cost. Quick fixes do not usually work.

Very often big business houses fight about the quality of their products in advertising media. It is a sign of bitter competition and these fights are settled somehow in or out of the court. It should come to no surprise to most of you that amongst the number one monetizing forms one can use is Google Adsense – a strong advertisement method that automatically targets the content of your site and displays ad links accordingly. Super fast and pretty good, if you have a large website to play around with!

Of course the good ol’ giant has some flaws (although we will not discuss those in this article) but for the most Adsense will do a lot for your webpage. And nowadays the concept of having small text ads on your site is pretty much accepted and no one should be to upset about it.

How does Adsense work?

Well, first off you get to sign up with your site and the merry gang at Google will then get back to you if your site has been accepted or not. One tip here is to apply only with finished web pages or pages that has some decent content on them at least, it’s always boring to get rejected just because you were to trigger-happy!

When you are finally onboard, first of congratulations! Now it’s time to see what this program can do for you! As we wrote about earlier Adsense supplies advertisement to your visitors based on the content of your page, this means that if your page is about used cars, most likely the ads will display advertisement for.. used cars. Most of the time this will not be a problem since most pages are about one subject but in some cases it can be a bit messy (if you run a news page or link page you will have less control over shown ads). Why is this a problem you say? Well basically because visitors tend to click on ads that are closely related to the issue/content they are looking for. If your visitors are on your site reading about computer games, they’re more likely to be attracted to ads about computer games – now if you are running a site with changing content but still in some niche, you might get visitors that usually come to your site to read about computer games, but on this occasion you’ve pasted a news article about.. say cars, and then Adsense might show ads about cars. Not so likely that visitors will click on them, meaning less income for you.

Next step is choosing what type of ads you’d like to display on your page. My recommendation here would be to go with as much integration you possible can. Although, and this is a pretty BIG one, don’t ever try to fool your visitors (or Adsense either) just to get clicks! First off, your visitors will hate you for ever and eternal damnation might wait for you, but more important still, Adsense might throw you out and ban you.. not that funny since it’s no stroll in the park to get back in again.

Different types of Adsense ads?

Currently there are three different ad formats available on Adsense:

Adsense for Content – displays ads (in text or banners, or both) on your page depending on your content/seo/links/and a lot more stuff, just to define what the hell your page is really about

Adsense for Search – A very smart little search bar integration letting your visitors search google and your site – while you get paid per search.

Adsense recommendations – Get your visitors to start using some of Googles own products and earn some cash along the way. You got Adsense, Adwords, Firefox with Google toolbar and Picasa to choose from.

Adsense for content

On this article I will mostly talk about Adsense for Content though, since that is, atleast in my opinion the system that works best.

So now you got your Adsense account up and running, time to choose your style! As I said above I would recommend Adsense for content since this is by far the easiest way of getting targeted ads on your site that your visitors might actually click on! First you get to choose if you want to have text ads or banners (images), or a mixture of both.

My recommendation here would be to go with text ads, small discreet stuff that works very well integrated on your pages. I would go for the banner images, not just yet at least but I will get back to using banners later on.

Try to pick a size that works for you, and be very mindful about the colors you can choose from, I would definitely recommend that you try to use the same, or similar colors on the ads that you have on your own links and a href stuff. Also try to give the ads some space and if you can, give them a good position, maybe somewhere in your text block?

Next up is definitely Text Links, these are small works of wonder and works very well if places right. I will get back to these small wonders later on this page but for now the direction you should be aiming for is trying to integrate them, and if you can even try to give them the space like you would for a normal navigation menu! (but as I said before, don’t try to be a smart ass and hide the links or make them too tricky, sure you might earn some nickels on it but the chances that Google won’t like your stunt makes it NOT worth it.)

What is the Yahoo Publisher Network program and why should I try it over advertising programs like Google AdSense? The new Yahoo Publisher Network, also known as the YPN program has proven it is a major competitor to AdSense. Lots of people have been raving about the greatly increased profits from the new Yahoo Advertising Network. They offer a similar setup to Google but with some mild differences and evolving tools.

Now, getting accepted into the Yahoo Publisher Network is somewhat difficult at this time. It is still in Beta testing and many publishers who apply often wait many weeks before they get a response (or do not get a response at all). However, the program is expected to come out of its Beta testing sometime in the coming months and then getting accepted into the program will be much easier. You may be asking yourself, why should I leave AdSense and join the Yahoo Publisher Network when so many people have had so much success with the Google AdSense Program and the YPN program is still new? The answer to this question is simple. So far, many people who have been accepted into this program and have experimented with it, have found that it generally tends to pay more to publishers than the Google AdSense program does; however, many speculate that this may only be for a limited time only in an effort to generate “buzz” about the program and to encourage more webmasters to become interested and apply to the program.

The features of the Yahoo Publisher Network are very similar to that of the AdSense program. Publishers can choose from a wide variety of advertisement layouts and choose ones that they feel best complement their website. Publishers can also change the color scheme of all advertisements to blend the ads with their website so that they look more natural. Like the AdSense program, Yahoo Publisher Network users can have multiple channels so that they can use one account for a large number of websites.

If you are considering choosing the Yahoo Publisher Network program, you must get rid of AdSense advertisements on that website. Yahoo Publisher Network states that you can not run two different contextual advertising programs on one website if you choose the program. Hence, I recommend running the Yahoo Publisher Network advertisements on your website for a certain length of time and see how they perform. If the YPN advertisements perform better than the AdSense advertisements, than you should obviously use the YPN program. On the flip side, if you were making more money using the AdSense program, then stick with AdSense. For some people, this new program may work very well, and for others, they may find that using YPN advertisements lead to a decrease in earnings. Either way, the only way you can know for sure is if you experiment so apply and see what happens. You really don’t have much to lose.

If you have multiple sites or multiple directories in your site for different subjects and you have placed Adsense codes in your site, I am sure you would like to know: (a) from which site or directory you are earning the most / least, (b) which Adsense ads are being clicked and (c) from which page?

CREATE CHANNELS FOR EACH SITE

To get separate stats for each site / section / directory / page with Adsense, you need to create channels for each one. Create a channel with a relevant name and generate a code for that channel. Paste that particular Adsense code to the concerned pages / sites.

GET CHANNEL STATS IN REAL TIME

Google now provides Channel Data in real time. Earlier, it used to provide data for '2 days before'. Follow the procedure mentioned below :

1. From 'Date Range' drop down menu, select 'today'.

2. Check the radio button : Group data by 'Channel'.

3. On the right hand panel, check the radio button 'Channel data'.

4. Click on 'Select ALL' at the bottom of channel list.

5. Click on 'Display Report'.

Now you get the seggregated report for clicks generated for each channel.

WHICH ADS ARE BEING CLICKED AND FROM WHICH PAGE?

It is very important to know that which pages / sites are generating good Adsense revenue and which are not. We can work upon those poorly performing pages. If we can get to know about which ads are being clicked, that would make us feel more informed for many obvious reasons.

Currently Google does not provide this data. But you can still get it from a very nice and detailed free web stat service, Add Free Stats.

Add Free Stats provides a very detailed web stats which satisfies most webmasters. You may open a free account at : http://www5.addfreestats.com, get the code and paste it at the bottom of each of your pages.

Make sure that in 'Your Account' section you mark 'Yes' for 'Exit link tracking'.

Now check your stats at Add Free Stats, and you will find a "A" icon beside the visitors' ip. That means that visitor has clicked on an Adsense code. Place your mouse over the icon, and you can see which ad has been clicked.

You can also generate a separate report of pages that have generated Adsense click. Select 'Exit Links/Adsense' from the drop down menu marked as 'Pages'. Here you get a folder icon named Adsense, the number of Adsense clicks etc. Click on the Adsense folder icon and you get the number of Adsense clicks on each page and which ads are clicked on that page. Click on the 'hour glass' icon and you get the CTR, PV too for each page.

I am no way connected to Add Free Stats. I am just a happy user. Any webmaster working seriously towards Adsense earning, must have this tool.

There are many ideas springing up concerning what AdSense will look like in the future and how the system will change as opposed to what it is now.

First of all, it is clear that targeting algorithms will become even better and more powerful then they are now. This has clearly been seen with the Google search engine itself over the last few years and it should be of no surprise as this happens with AdSense. Advertisers will appear in more appropriate results and those advertisers who manipulate their content to allow high paying keywords to appear may struggle to do this unless it is actually appropriate to their content.

Another thing which is bound to happen is more protection for AdWords advertisers concerning click fraud. Google acknowledges this to be a very key issue that it needs to address as quickly as possible and there is no doubt it will happen as fast as possible. At the moment those who have high levels of traffic, can easily disguise IP addresses and increase CTR ( Click Through Rate).

Google is always keen on improving its products and this has been seen before in AdSense. The search engine company has introduced site-targeted AdSense CPM, "smart pricing" and domain blocking and there will probably be improvements that have already been added by other similar sites.

One such example is the option for the advertiser to have more control over where the content is being displayed. This could mean blocking your site from displaying on several addresses that host AdSense banners.

Another idea that has been advanced is that Google will integrate AdSense in other forms of media like newspapers or television and so on. While this might seem to be more on the science-fiction side of the facts there's no indication that this might not happen.

Google have access to an international array of over 150,000 advertisers of whom may choose to penetrate offline markets in different countries. Google has a strong network of advertisers and they may choose to appoint or allow offline distributors to create a format for Adwords advertising in content, in search and now offline.

More options could be implemented for AdSense publishers, allowing them to specify keywords of their own. While Google has been reluctant of this there is no indication that this will not happen in the future.

Also, many people are demanding a clear specification of the pricing policy of AdSense. Google has given no indication of why this is not public information but at this moment it seems highly unlikely that such information will ever be present on Google AdSense.

Another feature that could find itself into AdSense would be letting website publishers see which links are generating clicks on their website and based on what keywords they arrive there.

This could end up being a major issue that could threaten the entire system as it could perhaps encourage more adsense only websites as profits become more transparent. Many people may make AdSense only sites, designed just for making profits through AdSense.

While this is already happening today, it might be foolish of Google to put such tools in the hands of its publishers.

However, one thing that could happen is a way for users to fix their issues with low AdSense generated income on their site. This could be done through an on-line wizard or something similar that would make suggestions to website owners based on their contents.

But the major buzz word of the day is RSS. The possibility of sending targeted ads directly to users without requiring any navigation on their behalf is becoming a reality with RSS. And there are clear signs that Google isn't going to let such an opportunity pass by.

This is what "interactive television" and similar items have been trying to do for quite some time now. But the Internet would be a much better medium for this, because there are no mediums quite as interactive as the Internet.

But in the end, this is mostly speculation and we are bound to have Google surprising us with new features we would have never thought of.

Click fraud is, at its simplest, clicks on ads that are not generated by a real person interested in making a purchase. Click fraud can come from many different sources:

Click bots, which are robots designed to click on ads, are one source. Click bots are often run by an affiliate of the PPC search engine.

Competitors may click on your ads to try to drive your cost up.

Click schemes are programs people join to click on ads for each other. Usually these people are affiliates of the PPC search engines.

Combating click fraud can be tough. One of the easiest ways to combat click fraud is to not advertise on search engines who deliver lower quality traffic. This factor is easily determined with conversion rates. Making money with Adsense is all the rage now. And there are so many different ways to make money from Adsense But no matter what type of website you have, you must be displaying the Google ads, getting traffic and traffic that clicks on your ads to make any money.

So to help you along your way, here is a method you've probably not tried and most people probably won't as it does take effort and time. This will make it easier for you to be successful with it.

You see, most people seem to want to keep switching from automatic software generators to bombs to portal sites to directory listing sites, which is fine, but the best way is to stick to creating unique content that's informative and of high quality.

This method is not the only way to make money with Adsense, jeez there are probably hundreds and hundreds and lots that we all have not even thought of yet. But as I said before I really feel that this is the best method for long term success, simply because it's been working well in different ways since I began Internet marketing a while ago.

What you need to do is create a site that has thousands and thousands of pages of content on all sorts of subjects and then you get your traffic for free via organic search engine searches, which is all well and good if you want to wait awhile, but this article is all about making money quickly.

Every page on your site should have an adsense box on it and that is how you will make your money.

Now, trying to write thousands of pages of content yourself before making any money would be difficult, you'd lose interest very very quickly and even if you tried to buy that much content would be lunacy.

Plus to build a publish a website with that much content would alert the search engines who would think you are spamming them.

I've always preferred to make money constantly even if the project is only half done or in progress. I find it gives me incentive to keep going.

So this is how you need to approach it.

1. Register a catchy domain name, something like fiveminuteguides.com or learnitnow.com

2. Start writing little 500 to 750 word action plans or checklist on all sorts of topics such as your favorite hobbies and other interesting topics.

3. Publish your website with your articles and remember to add your Adsense boxes, one in the middle and one of the right hand side.

4. So you've published your site up, you have a page up on a certain topic that had a fairly high search rate and Adsense payout rate, now what? How do you make money with this page.

Write articles! For every one fly fishing type checklist write 10 to 20 articles on all sorts of subjects to do with your topic.

But how do you get people from reading your article to going to your website?

Well, not only would you mention your site within your article, (slip it in humbly) you also have your article byline you can use for that purpose.

For example

"For a complete checklist for your first fly fishing trip visit blah.com"

or

"For a complete step by step checklist for catching large Trout visit blah.com"

So not only will you make money instantly from your website, you will also build tons of quality content over time and you will have hundreds maybe even thousands of articles all over the Internet working for you around the clock and your site will do a heck of a lot better in the search engines due to all the incoming links!

This is a very rough outline, but you smart people out there will be able to run with it and add new ideas I haven’t even thought of. This is one of those money machines that will make you money on demand pretty much for the life of the Internet.

In the past year, Google Adsense has become the “It” way to make money on the Internet.

But even if you already use Google Adsense on your site, you are probably leaving money on the table. Let me explain why…

Most people create a site, slap some content and then wait for people to click on their ads.

But once people click on an ad, they are gone….probably forever!

One method that smart Internet marketers use to maximize their Google Adsense is to harness the power of their email list. By getting people to subscribe to their list, website owners can continue to make money from their readers.

By utilizing the power of their email list, website owners can dramatically increase their Adsense income.

Here is how you can do the same. In the following article, there is a step-by-step list of how you can harness the power of your list to create a steady stream of Adsense revenue.

The first step is to create a topic that is in high demand. A good topic would be something that people have an interest in, or information that can help your readers personally or financially.

Your next action would be to create content for your site. The idea is to write or use information that would provide value to the reader. All your articles should help improve their life in some manner. You can create content for your site in a large numbers of ways. This can include:

· Your own web articles
· Guides, product evaluations, and “How To's”
· Blogs and RSS Feeds
· Public domain works
· Private label rights
· Hiring a freelancer to write your content

· If you have to have other links on this page, include them at the bottom where there is a less chance of being clicked on

After designing your web pages, you need to create an autoresponder sequence for your email list. The primary focus for each email is to get people to click on your Google Adsense pages. So it is important to create and intriguing title. Then in the email, write a little bit about the importance of the article and tell your subscribers how they can learn more by clicking over to the site.

Once you've created your sequence of bringing readers to your Adsense pages, you should start promoting your lists. You can do this by articles, PPC, ebooks, viral marketing and SEO. The more people usually means more money, so you have to continuously work at marketing your website.

Once you have finished creating your Adsense and email system, you should go back and continue to add more content and market your site. By having a large selection of information and more readers, you'll discover that your Google Adsense income will grow exponentially.

Lately many of my customers have been asking me this question: "Which program is better? Adsense or Yahoo Publisher?" It sounds simple, but the answer is not. The reason being is that both programs work well, but both also have different places when considering whether or not to use them for a specific website. Here's why. Adsense has been around for a while now, and at the moment has the lion's share of the market in the PPC (Pay Per Click) game. But anyone who has been promoting them on their websites will tell you that the payouts have also gotten gradually smaller as time has gone on. Why? Well it's easy, they are still the best game in town, so they aren't worried about losing their publishers to another PPC. But then came Yahoo Publisher. Which unless you've been living under a rock for the past ten years, you already know the name, and know how big that company is. And with the purchase of Overture, Yahoo is coming into the game well equipped and ready for a fight. So, what's the difference between the two? Here is what I've been able to learn from my own websites. Yahoo, overall, is paying more per click then Adsense. But before you jump from this article and start changing your code, read on a bit more. Yahoo Publisher seems to be paying more then Adsense on similar content, BUT... Their ads are not nearly as contextually targeted as Adsense. So this can present a problem for website owners. For example, if you have a website that it's primary topic is 'HOME MORTGAGES', Adsense will display ads that only link to mortgage sites. But that's not true with Yahoo Publisher. Yahoo Publisher might display some mortgage ads, but also might display a Payday Loan ad (BTW if you need a payday loan, check out this page http://www.thegiftedone.com ), Vonage ads (Vonage must pay them some big money, as they seem to be the default when the script doesn't know what to do), or some other ad that does not relate to the content of your website. How do you choose which program is right for your site? This depends on the site itself and the type of surfers that frequent it. If you have a site that is highly targeted for a certain keyword, then I would suggest you stay with Adsense. This will keep the ads focused and targeted to your customers, presenting them with content that they will click. If they came to read about cooking recipes, they probably won’t click the Vonage ad. Here’s an example of a content targeted website: http://voip.magicanswers.com However, if your site is more of a surfer hangout, where people go when they are bored, or if your site covers a multitude of topics, then you might be better off loading it up with Yahoo Publisher ads. This type of surfer is more likely to click an ad that’s off topic, which in turn would pay you better. At this point what it comes down to is the click thru ratio. If monitored closely, you can determine what your surfers like and what they don’t like. What they click and what they don’t click. If one program is not performing well for you, then try the other. I’m sure that as time goes on, Yahoo Publisher will become more targeted, and surely will be more competitive. With Google’s Adsense as an adversary they have quite a fight on their hands. My advice to you is this. If you have one website, then optimize your PPC links for YOUR website surfers. If you have many, optimize each site accordingly, but do take the time to test each program. Find out which one will pay you more. Whether you own a giant corporation with hundreds of websites, or a home based business branching out to the internet, the bottom line is always the bottom line. Which comes down to the paycheck. A simple test might lead you to more money, which is always the goal.
